Hi, this is Ahnaf Tousif Hussyne. I am studying in Applied Science at the University of Manitoba. I am from Bangladesh. After completing my Higher Secondary Certificate (H.S.C), I joined the Bangladesh Air Force as an officer cadet and did my basic military training for six months. I thought that being a soldier would be the best way to serve my motherland. But while my stay at BAFA, I looked at our motto quite a few times which said, “Sky is our limit.”

But in order to flourish I need to break the barrier and go beyond the limits. I acknowledged that in order to put a mark in the world I need to become more of a philanthropist than a patriot. I then decided to extend my boundary so I left the Air Force to do my undergrad at the University of Manitoba. After I landed in Canada, in the land of opportunities, I realised that need to get attached to a not-for-profit that works for the betterment of mankind, that helps to mitigate conflicts and supports resilience. I assured one thing CRRIC’s gonna help me achieve what I’ve been trying to achieve all these years – a perfect leadership qualities, sacrifice myself for a noble purpose.I volunteered for CRRIC in February 2020 and now work as a CRRIC webinar 2020 content developer.
