Amena Khatun, MSS (Sociology, University of Dhaka) and MS (Gender and Development, Asian Institute of Technology, Thailand) is a Volunteer with CRRIC since 2017.

Amena Khatun, MSS (Sociology, University of Dhaka) and MS (Gender and Development, Asian Institute of Technology, Thailand) is a Volunteer with CRRIC since 2017. She served the CARE-Bangladesh (Field Extensionist, in The Road Maintenance Program, 1993-1994); ICDDR’B (Field Trainer, Maternity, Child Health and Family Planning, 1994-1995); GenDev, AIT, Thailand (Research Assistant 1998), University of Manitoba (Research Assistant 1999-2000, IDRC-funded Globalization project; 2004 CED project); NRDS-Bangladesh (Program Officer, Gender, 2002); and Centre for Applied Social Studies (Program Coordinator, Gender, 2005-2008) and 7-Eleven Inc. (Senior Sales Associate 2004, 2009-2018). Mrs. Khatun also served four Daycare Centres, and volunteers at Winnipeg Regional Health Authority, St. Amant and Manitoba Bengali Learning Centre (Bangla School) in Winnipeg.
