RESEARCH ASSISTANT (UNIVERSITY)

Madara Dias is currently pursuing her Master’s degree in Human Rights under the Faculty of Law at the University of Manitoba, Canada. She holds a Bachelor’s degree with a specialization in Criminology and Criminal Justice from the University of Sri Jayewardenepura, Sri Lanka. Madara has served as a Graduate Research Assistant and an Associate Course Coordinator

Cierra Bettens is a Métis writer, journalist and student completing her BAH in Political Science at the University of Winnipeg. Her work has been featured in Canadian Dimension, The Uniter and Lithium Magazine. Her research interests include political theory, urban politics and the political economy of media. She lives and works on Treaty 1 territory.
